  1. These vids make me laugh. Who has time to do it this way?, he has a nice strait and flat walls, very rare on site. Easy to do in controlled situations.

  2. I'm considering having something like this done, but worry in case of burst pipes, etc in the future. How does one get access to things beneath?

  3. If the wall and floor vinyl are both 2mm thickness would you use a U shape groove between the wall seams as apposed to a V groove for the welding channel?

  4. My bathroom is like this one but they never bloody welded anything apart from one small angled joint in an exterior corner, no seams where the wall vinyl overlapped the floor at the bottom just bare joins! Mine is shoddy and it's taken me 15 years to see how the job is supposed to be done when I watched this video. Mate I'm quite brassed off to tell you the truth. It wasn't you blokes though. This guy was a pleasure to watch skills top notch.

  5. To Armstrong flooring: would any of your sheet vinyl suitable for this application be available in the U.S.?

  6. its slow and flawless ,but my boss is not gona like it , he want 2 spaces in that much time

  7. He needs to say what type of drain he uses so I can buy the same. Or else the whole project is a non starter for me.

  8. I learned how to cove with inlaid vinyl in 1963 when I was 13 yo. with a pattern or without a pattern . Armstrong Santa Cruz, Coronelle, Montina, Palestra, and so on. My first installation was a small bathroom. We used a boot corner then we changed to a v corner. Armstrong introduced a circular saw to cut long seam but they discontinued it.

  9. So many unnecesery steps.. no wonder in some countries this kind of installation is SOO SLOW…

  10. Prefit V plug corners are built 1" wide at the bottom and fold around leaving 1/2" overlap for the sheet install. So much easier and cleaner. The floor snaps underneath and holds firm into former. Inside corners are cut last minute for accuracy and 1/2 way down the former. No more misses, gaping holes to fill with weld. Sandbag the drain because it will pop loose during cure time. Armstrong adhesives are the most installer friendly. Other mfgs are nightmarish… some require full sandbag to keep bubbles away. Especially along walls, where pressure into cove stick yields bubbles in floor. 27yr certified installer.

  11. When I do wall cladding with vinyl running up the wall as well, I put mini coformer up the internal of the walls, makes welding in the corners easy and you can do in one go.

  12. This guy is one of the best welders I've ever seen and I've been in the trade for 15 years

  13. What is the name of the rubberised tape that goes onto the bottom of the wet floor I need to get some ?
