  1. Yeah be sure you wear a safety glasses,but shoes are optional. Next time you're ripping something make sure you use the rip blade not cross cut.

  3. So, did you just screw down that straight edge into the butcher block for the saw to ride against? The only downside is having screw holes in your butcher block now, or am I missing something?

I want to cut a window sill in this wood, ( kitchen worktop depth 40mm) but its too high for the opening inward window I have, so I am going to build a circular saw table and cut it's height from 40mm to 20mm. I will then have two pieces of wood same depth and width. I hope its possible! 20cm x 100cm x 20mm , window sill size for small bathroom. Will it cut that thin and that deep?
