  1. Recently widowed and having to do all the odd jobs that my bestie did, best ever diy tutorial, thank you

  2. Thank you. I looked at other manly advice that implied I needed to buy 2 or 3 other specialist pieces, put beefy strength behind the drill and grow another hand! This was simply explained and has inspired confidence. Great!

  3. I tried a "masonry" drill bit but it really didn't work. I believe my tiles are porcelain rather than ceramic. I then went and bought ceramic drill bits and they worker perfectly.

  4. The plug should be pushed past the tile otherwise tightening a tapered screw can crack the tile.

  5. Push the raw plugs through passed the tile and you won't crack the tile with the screw and expanding raw plug.

  6. This is quite incorrect. One should use a glass/tile bit, which is the proper bit…not a wood bit, and not a masonry bit.

  7. You are living in the dark ages, if you don’t believe women are great at DIY. Youtube is jam packed with women using very dangerous saws and cutting tools. I’ve seen women on YouTube change light fittings (dealing with electric) doing plastering. Anything and everything that you can think of. Everything the guys do, you’ll find women doing it here on YouTube.

  8. ⚘Desirve the respict and the like , i cant do what u doing i thinking in it 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

  9. It's not sexist or bigoted to point out she should use the correct drill bit (carbide), also a rubber ring on the chuck to stop crashing into the wall. She was lucky not to crack the tile. Goggles are a valid point for eye-safety . Get over yourselves, it's not sexist to criticise , never mind if it's a man or woman. Some rather stupid comments on here!

  10. It's amazing how many rude men have commented on this video. Do you feel like your masculinity is being threatened? 😂

  11. I am so nervous about getting it wrong, tomorrow I shall go get a glass/tile bit. Thanks for posting and giving confidence to those who lack it.
