  1. Worked amazingly well! Baking soda for the win!!! Had to soak it 3 times for 4 minutes 🥴

  2. Sharing from my own experience, I wore daily Pandora matching neckpiece & bracelet with charms 925 sterling silver even during bath since I received it from my daughter in 2016, never break never tarnish and still shiny👌

  3. I don’t buy Pandora jewellery anymore. Overtime it tarnishes and Pandora can never make it look shiny like you first buy it. I tried the toothpaste method, it worked some what but it is not the same.I am sure I have tried this method too and in the end I just gave up.

  4. Umm baking soda… no thanks especially if the Pandora jewelry has stones, enamel, etc., this will be a disaster and common sense should probably tell you this. Also to those that are saying how badly their pieces are tarnishing… a couple of things could be happening. 1. you're not wearing the piece(s) enough, 2. the piece is not being stored properly (those little white polishing bags Pandora gives you are amazing), 3. you could be using soaps, lotions or perfumes that are causing it to change color.

  5. That's strange coz mine (neck & wrist pieces and charms) never tarnished nor become dirty even when I don't remove them while taking a bath fyi They're all bought & used in the middle east 😊

  6. Thank u for your video my bracelet was black and I didn't know how to clean it. I followed your video and now my pandora is like new😊

  7. I just did this with mine and knew what to expect. Yes, it will take off ALL patina whether purposefully there or not. Good news…it will return, silver tarnishes. Those little grooves will be filled in again soon with black. Why do you think people always had silver polishing days, true sterling tarnishes. This is actually the only safe way of polishing silver all creams and chemicals take a layer of the silver off, weakening it with time. This is the only method that will not weaken the silver. Any brown spots left behind is due to oxidation that will get better with buffing. If you are left with yellow looking silver it's from the oxidation of silver and hydrogen, which is in the air…use a polishing cloth then. You can take your bracelets and charms to a professional and they will still get all the patina out of the grooves. All the extra patina does is allow you to see the designs up close when you first buy, it's basically for first-time out of the store decoration purposes only.

  8. This is not how you take care of Pandora Jewelry since I do work at a store!!!!!!!! You have ruined the jewelry and the hand finished components applied from great silver smiths in Thailand, has come off!! This is a BIG NO NO!!!!! All you need is dawn dish soap and LUKE WARM water a soft bristled tooth brush, Pandora stores also offer free cleaning service and you can purchase the Pandora cleaning solution for $15 if you wish. But please ladies and gentlemen, DON'T USE THS METHOD ITS NOT SUPPORTED/RECOMMENDED BY PANDORA! Here is the direct link to Pandora's cleaning and care guide: https://help.pandora.net/s/product-care?language=en_US#position=bottom&src=categorySearch&srcName=Product%20%26%20Care

  9. Also fyi I wear my Pandora necklace & bracelet all the time and never remove it even when bathing and they don't tarnish nor break at all, I suspect there are fake Pandoras around…buy only from duty free and Pandora outlets👍

  10. Fyi Pandira has lifetime guarantee and for that you can bring it to any Pandora outlet for repair or cleaning 😉

  11. Just have to add this – all .925 sterling silver that is NOT coated will tarnish. The speed of tarnishing depends on many factors – air exposure, humidity, individual skin chemistry, etc. The reason you might not see tarnish on other .925 SS jewelry is that it is often coated with rhodium or other non tarnish substance., just depends on what the manufacturer decides to do. Pandora has always taken the route of NO coatings that is why some of the sales assoc. say 100% silver when what they mean is NO coatings. It is still the same .925 SS and not junk and it will tarnish to varying degrees. Use the polishing cloth before it gets overly tarnished and wear it. (also keeping it stored out of the open air helps).

  12. I tried the toothpaste method and it worked a little bit the hot water and baking soda really helped A LOT! My bracelet is back to looking like new! For any charm that you have with engraving – dip a sponge in the baking sods solution and carefully clean it !

  13. I would never use the baking soda method butThis is something I’ve done for years whether it’s fashion jewelry I’ve bought or pieces I’ve made myself. Some of you may have tried this as well and I’ll tell you now, this works. As soon as you purchase or make the jewelry, Simply take a high quality clear nail polish. Polish everything that is gold or silver plated and sterling silver. Before doing this, cover your work area with packaging tape. The reason is while your jewelry is drying, it will not stick to your work area and look “tacky” afterwards. Also, instead of putting your jewelry (other than rings) in a jewelry box, hang them on a jewelry hanger. Depending on how often you wear your pieces, this method should last for some time. You’ll know when it’s time to repeat the process but this method saves all engraving and no scratches. Hope this helps, works for me!!

  14. Got a pandora ring and bracelet from there and what a pile of shite! Turns dirty straight away! Waste of money!
