  2. Exiting times for the apprentice! Being out of the trade I live vicariously through this channel, the production quality keeps getting better and better. You got a great thing going on here, Jordan!

  3. Great set of tools AND when you are working 'on site' so to speak, invaluable. The polarity checker as rightly pointed out, can be VERY important to ascertain if the LINE and NEUTRAL are correct. Make sure you securely mark your tool kit!! If you are working with others who have similar gear it saves a lot of hassle. Online registering of some gear is a pain in the butt but make sure you do! Gear DOES go wrong ie meters and such. I have Avo meters and several AC 1000v specialist meters to phase, capacitance and inductance meters. 👀Not forgetting satellite alignment and more. A decent LASER measuring device is another of my fav pieces of kit. These days its a real pain in the ! re the different types of screw/bolt re the tools required ie star, hex, flat, posi, philips AAAAAAAAARGH give me a break!! 👀😂 Always invest in QUALITY tools not CHEAP and nasty ones that can fail you for a variety of reasons. Of course if you are working on mains etc to ensure they can cope with HIGH VOLTAGES / CURRENT etc. and not FRY you. Lastly reminds me when talking about the right POLARITY? Going back some years, some cars used to have POSITVE EARTHING whereas today of course they are NEGATIVE earth. I remember helping someone resolve an issue with their car and realized in time what was wrong, the car actually ran although as one might suspect, a little erratic with the polarity wrong.. 👀 Uh yes DYNAMO not ALTERNATOR as I suspect it would have been interesting re that. Good to see you looking after your apprentice! Stay safe guys!

  4. El mejor jefe! Dando buenas herramientas al ayudante. En mi caso, mi ex jefe nunca me dio herramientas. Saludos desde Chile.

  5. Great surprise for the young apprentice wonderful tools for him , he will appreciate the quality no doubt

  6. love how you treat Oscar full marks to how your treating him my sons are both 18yrs and when I joined as a young guy was scary

    fully marks to you

  7. Shame there's so much hate about some tools, the lads has a chance to have some experience with a decent spark an he's even got some personal tools to use, are we spark's or joiners here ?

  8. At the risk of asking a dumb question , is the Haltfors hammer the same as the Whia hammer ? ATM , I’m using a 6 oz Warrington hammer , and a pair of Knipex pincers for nail pulling ( when paired with a piece of scrap leather , it prevents marking surfaces ) .

  9. Did him the dirty with the company line (as he drives away in his Tesla) 😆 can tell they would’ve meant world to the lad

  10. Sorry…what a cock. Here you go oscar all these new tools for you…don't lose them or break them because they actually belong to the company. YouTube doesn't need to know that they belong to the company.

  11. Liked before watch / Love the sentiment.
Experienced so much condescension agains younger or less expirienced colleges. Always hated the rite of passage bs.
Now I have my own team and longterm I see much more growth and motivation in all my younger colleges, when you help and respect them.
My boss said something along the line of: "You assembled such a good teams from youngsters, maybe there is a generation change coming". Well no: All other young workers left for better companies :D

  12. This is how to bring out the best in your apprentice. All credit to you. Not many people take enough time to teach best practices for work.

  13. Polarity is overratted, here in HUngary we have plugs that fit either way, most appliances work just fine. The ones that doesn't, we wire them fixed.

  14. Sorry but I wouldn’t accept it I’d rather spend my money and keep the gear rather then leaving the company and not having nk gear

  15. Oscar you should give the tools back and buy your own mate, bit of a shit move that giving you them all then saying there company tools. Be better if you buy your own and build your own tools up over your time as an apprentice
