  1. Thanks ! Great video. Hey – does anyone know – are e-bike batteries subject to acid leaks too? Ours are sealed little plastic boxes – and I've brought them inside. Wondering if they will somehow leak acid into our floors.??? Thanks YouTube and fnaguitarplayer9 (I'm a guitar player too!)

  2. I keep a dry erase board in my outdoor storage building. I have all my small engines listed and also a spot for batteries. My small engines get started every three weeks and also boat batteries, and jump pack batteries charged if less than 12.6V.. I keep a multimeter out there for monitoring also. Negligence kills small engines and batteries, way more so in my personal opinion than the ethanol fuel alot of people harp on. Been running ethanol in small engines ever since it came out and with this system have never had a problem. Yes I think ethanol free fuel is a better fuel, however ask yourself how long is that ethanol free fuel sitting in in the tanks underground, due to the fact it is so much more expensive and rarely purchased. While I agree that non frigid temperatures are better on your batteries, I also feel I am way more apt to run my engines on schedule with the batteries intact on my riding mower, generator, etc.

  3. I have a maintainer on the generator because I never know when I'll need it. Sure came in handy when the big blow came through. As for the rest, I'll either take them out or put a lo charge on them every 2 weeks or so. Some of the stuff I use about all winter hauling firewood but the rest just get a kick every so often. My stuff is in the dry but not heated except by the sun but it does get warmish out in the winter unless it's really cold. Then I'm not sharing the wood heat with any batteries! Take care and Thanks!
