  1. Used a tungsten carbide core bit to cut a hole in a paving slab for a rotary washing line socket worked well from the UK 🇬🇧

  2. Nice. I was hoping you were going through concrete. Have you used it to go through concrete?

  3. This type of bit should be used in a rotary hammer mode drill. Not just rotary. Diamond core bits require rotary mode only. The extra step of drilling out small holes is not worth the time especially into brick. If it was very hard cement or the bit was very dull from drilling thru rebar then maybe. But that’s in a pinch. Other wise these types of bits will work well with a little blowout on back side of hole. And even drill thru rebar. With some definite wear on bit for doing so.

  4. Newer drills like the Bosch sds amd sds max have kickback control, to stop it breaking your wrist.

  5. helllo, dude, I have the exact things you showed here, the shank and concrete core bit. What happened to me is after the first use, the shank cannot be detached from the core bit. Do you have any comment or suggestion? Thank you in advance.

  6. It would work with brick but concrete is a different story. I hardly managed to do 1/2 inch in 30 mins before giving up on concrete. You need the diamond bit

  7. First time watcher. Thanks for sharing your experience using the hole saw. I initially thought that you were going to use just the hole saw but I'll remember how to help one make the hole if it can't do it alone.

  8. I have 2 of these for running 2" and 3" pvc through masonry for furnace exhaust/fresh air I probably have about 10 feet worth of different masonry material on the 65mm and the teeth are just starting to round off, will sharpen them and try for ten more feet.
